Tue, 11 September 2007 History Without Borders: Race Conquest and the Philippines In this segment of a recent conference at the Massachusetts School of Law, Professor Paul Kramer discusses the American rush to Empire at the end of the 19th century and into the 20th, using the philippines as an example in fact. He discusses the belief of the time that the "American way" was obviously the best way for non-white peoples.
